Your captions are doing nothing

The Amplified Creator On Captions
Your captions are doing nothing.
The short version
A caption earns one specific action: a save, a share, a comment, or a follow. Describing what people can already see wastes it. Write each caption for the job you want it to do and the same post performs better.

Most music captions read like a label. "New cover, hope you like it, link in bio." That caption asks for nothing, so it gets nothing.

Every caption should have one job, and you decide it before you write. Do you want this post saved, shared, commented on, or do you want the follow. Each goal wants a different caption.

Want saves? Make the post useful enough that people want it later, then tell them to save it. Want comments? End on a real question with an easy answer, something people can reply to in four words. Want shares? Say the thing your audience wishes they could send to the friend who doesn't get their taste in music.

The post does not change. The caption changes, and the numbers under it change with it.

This is the boring lever almost nobody pulls. Writing captions from scratch every time is miserable, so people fall back on "hope you like it" forever. The fix is a library sorted by job, so you grab the right kind in ten seconds.

Not posting consistently yet? Fix that first. The free Content Starter Kit gets your first 7 days of content out the door, no overthinking.
Next week I'm going to ask you for something, because I have spent five emails handing you the pieces and I built the thing that holds all of them.

The Amplified Creator On Hooks Why your posts die in the first 2 seconds. The short version Most posts don't fail because the music is weak. They fail in the first two seconds, because the opening gives nobody a reason to stay. Your hook moves your reach more than anything else in the post. Keep a bank of them and you stop losing good content to bad openings. You can play, sing, and perform brilliantly and still get 200 views. The playing is not the problem. The first two seconds gave nobody...
